Progress on achieving SDG 6

The proportion of the population with safely managed drinking water supply services decreased from 66.93% in 2014 to 64.42% in 2018.

The proportion of the population using sanitation services managed safely increased from 84.95% in 2014 to 86.58% in 2018.

The proportion of wastewater treated adequately increased from 43.14% in 2015 to 49.1% in 2019.

The proportion of the area of transboundary basins subject to operational arrangements for cooperation was calculated at 38.6% in 2020.
