Please outline briefly the commitment(s) made in the areas outlined above Decarbonisation:
 Reduction of GHG emissions attributed to Luxembourg by 55% by 2030 compared to 2005;
 Sectoral climate objectives until 2030 for 5 sectors (industry, transport, buildings, agriculture, waste);
 Long-term goal of climate neutrality by 2050 at the latest;
 Introduction of a Climate Pact for companies with particular support for SMEs
 Increase net-absorption in the LULUCF sector by -27 kt CO2eq in 2030 compared to the 2016-2018 average.
Just transition:
 Fossil fuels are subject to a CO2 tax to gradually increase to 45 EUR/t in 2026;
 50% of the revenue will be used for climate protection and energy transition measures, 50% for social compensation measures for low-income households to guarantee a just transition.
Renewable energies (RE):
 2030 target of RE share in gross final energy consumption increased from 25% to 37%;
 Accelerated deployment of RE technologies for electricity and heat production as well as e-mobility.
Energy efficiency (EE):
 Improve EE by 44% by 2030 compared to 2007;
 Support quality renovations of existing buildings with the introduction of (European) bonds;
 Mandatory equipment of all new residential and non-residential buildings with carbon-free heating systems;
 Significant financial incentives for fossil phase-out and decarbonisation of existing residential buildings through heat pumps.
