Gender Indicators for Sustainable Energy: A Call to Action

With the links between energy and gender equality well-recognized, gender equality is fundamental
to a sustainable energy transition. This makes tracking progress through gender indicators essential.
However, these crucial measures are currently absent within Sustainable Development Goal 7 (SDG7).
This obscures critical inequalities and hinders the development of inclusive solutions.
