The Partnership Platform

The Partnership Platform is a global registry of voluntary commitments and multi-stakeholder partnerships made by stakeholders in support of the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), and through various UN conferences and thematic action networks, including the UN Ocean Conference, the Small Island Developing States Conference, the UN Sustainable Transport Conference, the Rio+20 Conference, and others.

All stakeholders are encouraged to register their partnerships and voluntary commitments that support the implementation of the SDGs into the platform, or through the different action networks, per their preference and alignment of interest. Read more

 
 
 

Action Networks
 
UN Ocean Conference
The Ocean Conference, co-hosted by the Governments of Kenya and Portugal, comes at a critical time as the world is strengthening its efforts to mobilize, create and drive solutions to realize the 17 Sustainable Development Goals by 2030.
 
Small Island Developing States
The Third International Conference on Small Island Developing States was held from 1 to 4 September 2014 in Apia, Samoa. 300 partnerships were registered towards the Conference, addressing various priority areas.
 
UN 2023 Water Conference
The UN 2023 Water Conference will be held from 22 to 24 March 2023 in New York. The Conference shall be preceded by regional and global preparatory meetings, as appropriate, and informed by existing water-related meetings at the regional and global level.
 
Second UN Global Sustainable Transport Conference
The second United Nations Global Sustainable Transport Conference provided an opportunity to focus attention on the opportunities, challenges and solutions towards achieving sustainable transport worldwide.
 
SDG Good Practices
In the five years since the 2030 Agenda and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) were adopted in 2015, many governments, UN entities, international and regional organizations and stakeholders have gained in-depth knowledge and expertise and taken innovative steps towards implementing this ambitious global framework.  
 
SDG Acceleration Actions
SDG Acceleration Actions are initiatives voluntarily undertaken to accelerate the SDG implementation by governments and any other non-state actors - individually or in partnership.

The Conscious Fashion and Lifestyle Network is a United Nations (UN) hosted online platform for industry stakeholders, media, Governments, and UN system entities. The network showcases and enables collaborations that accelerate the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals.
 
Decent Jobs for Youth
Decent Jobs for Youth is a unique multi-stakeholder platform to address fragmentation and catalyse effective, innovative and evidence-based action at country and regional levels.
 
Higher Education Sustainability Initiative
The Higher Education Sustainability Initiative provides higher education institutions with a unique interface between higher education, science, and policy making.

2030 Agenda Partnership Accelerator
The 2030 Agenda Partnership Accelerator is a collaborative initiative by United Nations Department of Economic and Social Affairs (UN DESA) and The Partnering Initiative, in collaboration with United Nations Office for Partnerships, UN Global Compact, and the UN Development Coordination Office. The initiative aims to significantly help accelerate effective partnerships in support of the Sustainable Development Goals.
