    Description
    Description
WRI is the coordinating partner for the SE4ALL Building Efficiency Accelerator (BEA). The BEA activities in 2015 include a variety of outreach activities and the establishment of partnerships with a handful of leading cities to act as catalysts for regional action.

    Implementation of the Project/Activity

Outreach efforts will include activities conducted by NGO and private sector partners. By COP 21 in December 2015, the Institute's regional and city activities will include 100 cities, launch activities in Asia and Latin America, and initiate “deep dive” engagements with cities and sub national jurisdictions signing expressions of interest through their partnership. WRI has been convening a stakeholder process in Mexico City, where a local public-private Accelerator collaboration has been developing policies and projects for finance efficiency, improved procurement, building retrofits and energy code implementation.
