Government of Denmark (2nd SE4All Forum Commitments)

    Description
    Description
Denmark has supported SE4ALL since its launch in 2011 and will continue to be one of the strongest partners of the initiative, by using ODA for project development and mobilizing private finance for sustainable energy investments. The Government is also committed to share Danish experiences with partner countries, supporting their capacity-building and sustainable technology transfer. The Government has also decided to have its entire national energy supply covered by renewable energy by 2050.

    Implementation of the Project/Activity

Denmark has financially contributed to the SE4ALL Global Facilitation Team in Vienna, the SE4ALL Energy Efficiency Hub in Copenhagen, the SE4ALL TA-Facility hosted by the World Bank and SE4ALL Knowledge Hub. The support to key SE4ALL institutions has contributed to the development of SE4ALL. Furthermore, numerous DANIDA grants for bilateral, regional and multilateral energy partnerships have supported as well the SE4ALL objectives.
