Description
    Description
EKFA is a social project who aims to bring the basics services of electricity to remote families and villages through an ecological solar kits.EKFA goal is to provide electricity to the maximum of people with low or no income. This can only be done through connecting advertisers to the solar kits end-users.`EKFA is a socio-entrepreneurial project. As part of his social responsibilities the project aims to bring knowledge and education and IT education through special kits able to integrate a micro-computer and a off the network encyclopedia such as Wikipedia and integrated softwares.
    Expected Impact

The first step of the project implementation is to finalise the design of a fully ready to assemble solar kit. In addition we need to finalize the procurement contracts with the preselected suppliers.

In parallel, EKFA is targeting to set-up his first subsidiary in a west african country. The team will perform a training and partnerships with local NGO. Finally, the project aims to deploy tenth of kits by the end of 2020.

The financing of the first kits is expected to be through subsidies, support from companies or pre-paid credit from future advertisement. The objective is that the project gets a full financial autonomy with his first subsidiary prior to expand through the continent.

The project will focus through a simple country in 2020 to settle and get the field experience in order to overcome any challenge encountered.

Once the first country will be settled, well developed and autonomous, EKFA will deploy in other west african countries. The objective is to have a presence through all the west african region and the hope continent.

    Capacity

The EKFA kits is designed to be able to be assembled easily by any person with the basic knowledge of electricity and mechanic.
EKFA projects distribution is designed to externalise the assembly of the kits through anyone willing to become an EKFA distributor. Regional training will also be provided.

The subsidiary will provide training on a regular frequency to provide the skills and knowledge for any new participant and EKFA distributor.

EKFA kits is simple. The hardware technology will be open to the other developer which aims to work or distribute the EKFA concept throughout another region or another country.

    Governed

EKFA will be headquartered in Europe. The project directors, management, IT and Operations will be based in Europe (Norway/France).
In each african country where the project will be settled, a local presence will be in place.
Each subsidiaries will be in charge to control the day to day activities.

The logistics and operations will be coordinated between the Headquarter and the subsidiaries through dedicated department.

EKFA kits are designed to be able to be assembled by local entrepreneurs in order to enhance local job creations and community relationship. Special training will be handled by the country subsidiary.
The first special training will be realised Q1/Q2 2020.

EKFA kits are financed through advertising. Local entrepreneurs are in charge of mounting and distributing kits to remote families. Thus, the entrepreneur is receiving a regular income and families are getting access the basic services of electricity.

The management of the advertisement will be realised through a specific department within the Headquarter.
