On 16 September 2026, the first online capacity-building webinar focusing on the UN Decade of Sustainable Transport (2026 – 2035) and its Implementation Plan was held online. The webinar was attended by over 200 participants from around the world. The webinar addressed the first of six Focus Areas of the Implementation Plan “Ensure Access to Sustainable Transport for All”. Speakers included a wide array of organizations working on improving access to sustainable transport, including the World Bank, National Road Fund of Liberia, International Association of Public Transport (UITP), International Disability Alliance, Walk21 Foundation, international Road Federation, UN-Habitat and others.
