The Division for Sustainable Development Goals of the United Nations Department of Economic and Social Affairs (DSDG/UN DESA), in collaboration with the Ministry of Planning and Development (MPD) of Mozambique, UN Resident Coordinator Office, UN Development Programme, Mozambique, and UN Economic Commission for Africa (ECA), is organizing a National Workshop for the Technical Validation of the Voluntary Local Review Reports in the Context of the SDGs on 25-27 February 2026 in Matola, Mozambique.
Mozambique presented its First Voluntary National Review (VNR) in 2020 and is currently preparing its Second VNR, to be presented in 2026. The National Workshop aims to present, validate, and harmonize the six VLRs; promote exchange of experiences; and strengthen the connection between the VLR and VNR processes in Mozambique.
